Microsoft Big Data Hackathon

Today, I'm excited about the Microsoft Big Data Hackathon in Seattle next weekend. Since I've been busy with work and my apps, I have had little time to attend events like this. I spent the day installing Windows 7 on my bootcamp and getting their required tools (Office and Azure subscription) ready.

I expect that I'll need to program but I'm curious that they didn't require Visual Studios or a compiler.
